Modern four-wheel circuit racing in Japan started with the opening of the Suzuka Circuit in 1962 and will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2022. The various categories of races held around the country are run by different governing bodies, and the results of each race can be found on the JAF website.
And if you want to look back on rankings, entries, teams, etc. throughout the series, you need to visit the governing body's website. However, it is difficult to look back on a category that has ended.
This website has been created to look back over the 60 years of the series, with a focus on data, and to celebrate the achievements of racing drivers, teams, chassis manufacturers, engine manufacturers, tuners, tyre manufacturers, organisers and fans.
The author has run a website called Formula Nippon Data Centre in the past, and as I have a particular interest in formula car racing, I plan to compile the roots of Super Formula - F2000 - F2 - F3000 - Formula Nippon first. After that, I am considering whether to summarise F3/SFL or Group C. I am also thinking of uploading qualifying and race results for each race. I will consider other categories if requested.
The author is an ordinary fan and uses the material normally available. Also, it has been a long time since I created this website, so there may be some points that are difficult to read. If there are any typographical errors or misidentifications, I would be happy if you could softly point them out. And I would be very happy if this site grows together with the people who visit it and helps them to enjoy watching races!
